Fabrice B. Poussin
It was a journey of ages
walking atop the snowy peak of Fuji
in her gossamer dress of pearly satin and platinum threads
she let the icy breath fill her soul with sunshine.
Above the rising sun, she pirouetted upon the realm
and plunged into the cloudy ramparts to the village below
swimming euphoric she smiled to the heavens blue
her skin shivering of an unknown contact far away.
Blowing the sole kiss on the Georgia hills
he waited motionless to hear her gentle giggle
devoid of the warmth fed by an old beating breast
he only longed to feel the response of a soft touch.
Across the world, she inhaled the cosmos
her chest alive with the sparks of a bright new star
she closed herself to those near spheres and reached out
extending her grand jeté to transport her deepest yearning.
Thus, far away they caught a glimpse of the Chapel Sistine
painted on the ceiling of infinity an image of a longing
across unfathomed dimensions, they knew
to be one in the moment and forever so.
