Editor’s Choice

Letter From the Editor

Creating this semester’s issue has been no easy feat. Last semester proved to be difficult as we transitioned to Zoom, but we still managed to produce a fantastic issue. Due to 85% of Illinois State University’s classes being taught online this semester, many of us have been experiencing Zoom burnout. This tended to be a bit problematic as we were only able to meet virtually this semester.

Thankfully, our wonderful staff members have been fighting this burnout and worked diligently with our Editors to produce the wonderful issue sitting in front of you!

I would like to bring to light the new feature you see in this issue titled Editor Choice. This semester, each committee, Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Art/Media, selected one submission to become their Editor Choice and will receive a $25 gift card.

I would like to thank our wonderful staff members for their continued involvement and to everyone who submitted work to Euphemism. Our creative arts journal would not be possible without all of you!

Stay safe this winter and enjoy our Fall 2020 issue!
