I will not hide\u00a0
I will not shrink\u00a0
so that\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0
easier\u00a0
for you to swallow\u00a0
me\u00a0
to drink me down\u00a0like a pill\u00a0
that sits like a lump in your throat\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will not remain\u00a0
silent about\u00a0
who I\u00a0am\u00a0
just because\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0
not convenient\u00a0
for you\u00a0
I am not some\u00a0
trophy\u00a0
doll\u00a0
plaything\u00a0
that you can control anymore\u00a0
I will not\u00a0
submit\u00a0
I will not\u00a0
bow\u00a0
I will not\u00a0
You want me to\u00a0
be the sum\u00a0
of every lesson\u00a0
you\u2019ve\u00a0taught me\u00a0
but all you\u2019ve\u00a0\u00a0
done is make me\u00a0
feel like I\u00a0\u00a0
am just an\u00a0
accumulation of every\u00a0
mistake that\u00a0\u00a0
I\u2019ve\u00a0ever made\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You made me feel small\u00a0
but I am so much\u00a0
bigger than you\u00a0
ever allowed me\u00a0\u00a0
to be\u00a0
just because it\u00a0
was easier to deal\u00a0
with me if you\u00a0
could just pick\u00a0
me up and put\u00a0
me away\u00a0
with all of your\u00a0
other trinkets\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You hated that\u00a0
I loved the color\u00a0\u00a0
black\u00a0
but now you\u00a0
hate that I love\u00a0
the whole\u00a0
rainbow\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You cannot fix\u00a0
what is not\u00a0
broken\u00a0
there\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0a\u00a0\u00a0
Bible verse that\u00a0
could stop\u00a0
love\u00a0
for God loves\u00a0
me just as I am\u00a0
He\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0make mistakes\u00a0
