Connected Veins<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hands gripped so <\/p>\n\n\n\n

tight I can\u2019t tell <\/p>\n\n\n\n

which heartbeat <\/p>\n\n\n\n

is yours <\/p>\n\n\n\n

or mine <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0

And maybe that\u2019s\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a metaphor for <\/p>\n\n\n\n

our love <\/p>\n\n\n\n

our hearts connected <\/p>\n\n\n\n

our bond is so in sync <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that even our <\/p>\n\n\n\n

hearts know <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe it\u2019s that  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want it to be  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

a metaphor <\/p>\n\n\n\n

for our love <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to be <\/p>\n\n\n\n

so intertwined <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that our heart beats <\/p>\n\n\n\n

are ticking in <\/p>\n\n\n\n

time together <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe it\u2019s that  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want everything <\/p>\n\n\n\n

to be a poem <\/p>\n\n\n\n

to have life read  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

as love <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and that everything  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

is connected and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is all art <\/p>\n\n\n\n

even our hearts <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe it\u2019s that  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am searching <\/p>\n\n\n\n

for something <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that isn\u2019t even there <\/p>\n\n\n\n

a picture <\/p>\n\n\n\n

or story created <\/p>\n\n\n\n

all in my head <\/p>\n\n\n\n

to make this whole <\/p>\n\n\n\n

thing feel like it <\/p>\n\n\n\n

has a purpose <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe I want  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it to be real <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that we are  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

could be <\/p>\n\n\n\n

one  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

as to justify <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the way I feel <\/p>\n\n\n\n

about you <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that maybe you feel <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it too <\/p>\n\n\n\n

that it\u2019s not just me <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe <\/p>\n\n\n\n

just maybe <\/p>\n\n\n\n

our hands are clasped  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

tight and that is <\/p>\n\n\n\n

all that really matters <\/p>\n\n\n\n

because right now <\/p>\n\n\n\n

you are here <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I am here <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and we are together <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and maybe that is <\/p>\n\n\n\n
