\u201cThunderstorm Tears\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to wash my worries away\u00a0
in the middle of a thunderstorm,\u00a0\u00a0
so that you can\u2019t see the pain\u00a0\u00a0
streaming down my face –\u00a0\u00a0
disguised by the pouring rain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tilt my face up toward the sky\u00a0\u00a0
to watch Earth\u2019s\u00a0tears\u00a0fall into my eyes –\u00a0\u00a0
beauty in its own right.\u00a0\u00a0
And strength in the daily fight\u00a0\u00a0
to live life fully.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Show me the storm\u00a0\u00a0
so that I might see the light\u00a0
on the other side,\u00a0
and I will be forever grateful\u00a0\u00a0
for each ray of sun,\u00a0
and every drop of rain\u00a0\u00a0
that comes into contact with\u00a0\u00a0
my skin\u00a0
my life\u00a0
my existence.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will not\u00a0\u00a0
live my life in vain.\u00a0\u00a0
I will learn to wear\u00a0\u00a0
my feelings with pride –\u00a0
on my sleeve and not hidden inside –\u00a0
because\u00a0\u00a0
life’s true beauty lies\u00a0\u00a0
in the ability to care\u00a0
deeply\u00a0\u00a0
through the ups and downs of life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is the magic\u00a0
of the human experience.\u00a0
And I wouldn\u2019t trade it\u00a0
