Patience lost on an\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">endless reel. A young boy sits in thought.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He thinks of what he has never caught.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His bobber drops and the daydream stops.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Out of the water,\u00a0a large mouth flops.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDon&#8217;t let it snap but keep the line taut.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A battle done right, is one well fought.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hook is out, and the fish is lipped.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No sights pictured; his small hands are stripped.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Too often fate and never his wish.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why he&#8217;s called the boy who cried fish.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Connor Olejnik &nbsp; The wind has gone, and the lake\u00a0is glass.
