{"id":293,"date":"2021-04-13T16:01:03","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T16:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.illinoisstate.edu\/euphemism\/16-2\/?page_id=293"},"modified":"2021-04-28T19:54:38","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T19:54:38","slug":"area-52","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/euphemism.illinoisstate.edu\/16-2\/area-52\/","title":{"rendered":"area 52"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Natalie Swanson<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">recently, information about area 51 has<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">uncovered truth regarding aliens<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">however, i am here today<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to inquire their previous existence<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">prior to our collective knowledge.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">considering existing data<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of which, most are movies, but nonetheless,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">would you agree they are rather skilled<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">at assimilation?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">creating shadows<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">smashing routes to pedestals<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">false idols false prophets false bodies<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and we devour their forged substance<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">engorging our brains with pop culture trivia<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">as they latch themselves to our wallets<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and drain our societal links<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">our life force.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the other breed are those who<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">traipse among sandcastles and sangria<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">locked in luxury homes<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">with absolutely every status item at their disposal<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">without cultural status.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and they bleach their skin and hair til it<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">requires the flesh of others to mold themselves<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and they form<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">committees of closed-mindedness<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">due to an inability to<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">think alone,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the mob mentality infects<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">voice boxes regurgitating the regurgitation<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of politicians<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who care nothing for them<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">they\u2019re the second layer of cement on a<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">forgotten public works project<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">paid for by the People,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-left: 120px\">(and after a luxury trip to the islands,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-left: 120px\">courtesy of the executive branch).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">their children are raised by ideals that make<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">their skin color their protective armor<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">hurling abuse at those who are not phantoms<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">they know that taking,<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">is all it takes to survive on planet earth.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Natalie Swanson &nbsp; recently, information about area 51 has uncovered truth regarding aliens however, i am here today to inquire their previous existence prior to our collective knowledge. &nbsp; considering existing data of which, most are movies, but nonetheless, would you agree they are rather skilled at assimilation?
