to each other in perfect harmony.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They are immersed in love,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

far away from reality.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They are not understood by the outside world,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

because they only see a young boy and girl,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

not two loving parakeets.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The families try to keep them apart,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

because they don\u2019t understand the\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

lovers heart to heart.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Colored yellow and green,\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

all they want to do is sing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing will stand in their way,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

for these parakeets will sing another day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Years later the parakeets sing from the trees,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

no longer two voices, but three.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A sharp chirp, a little cry. But it\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

doesn\u2019t matter, for she can fly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fly like her mama, fly like her\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

papa, fly so high in the sky that<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
