In addition, listen to Taylor Swift\u2019s <em>Reputation <\/em>when you enter this phase. There is no greater power than wearing a black turtleneck, black jeans and listening to \u201cI Did Something Bad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Realize after some time that you are worthy of being loved as you are, even if the person who broke your heart doesn\u2019t love you back.<\/p>\n<p>Start listening to 80\u2019s heavy metal, hair metal, glam rock bands. As a 24-year-old woman, I have never felt more confident than when I listen to Paul Stanley, lead singer of the band KISS sing \u201c\u2019cause girl I was made for you, and girl you were made for me\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pick up habits that you wouldn\u2019t otherwise have thought of. 6:30am cycle classes, hanging out with the girls at your work outside of work, re-learn do things on your own.<\/p>\n<p>You will go through phrases when you want to talk about it, then you\u2019ll want to avoid talking about it for the sake of those around you, then you\u2019ll meet a new therapist and start talking about and realize that talking about it wasn\u2019t doing you any good and wow, I don\u2019t have to feel miserable and sad all the time. I can actually be happy and live my life for me.<\/p>\n<p>You will start to set boundaries, necessary and painful ones.
