after the blue high above takes a dark turn and slips off to the Unknown
after things have looked the same for a -bit-far- too long
after we’ve seen all sides of Shade and the general glare and the juxta
after the world gets a little less demanding, maybe the Wind starts to Wind down
when the Shadows loom larger and longer than the sources, streetlights turned to sidewalk High-rises
when cool seems a word just Perfect to use
when the sun comes down to meet us rather than hide above our Heads or in
the quick cotton clouds
when we -Meet-Met- eye to eye
before true Space spills out across the sky in a Slow, gradual gradient
before small dots of light purposefully place their Celestial bodies out for View
before illumination comes from artificial avenues and energy-Friendly resources
before the pupils of our eyes systematically expand to account for the lurking
world (just like in Science class)
we’ll think introspectively, Meditatively for a change-moment-ever
we’ll squint our eyelids in attempts to Realize such Awe
we’ll Breathe in all around us and all that is around us purposefully
we’ll hold it for as long as we See fit, spread Ourselves into every -fiber-particle-bit-piece-molecule- and inhabit those little Miracles that surround Us
we’ll exhale and let it all out with the -gifts-words-life-hope-desires- that we
Gave to them to be dispersed among the World
we’ll have the sides of our Mouths up Naturally, unafraid of the -creases-
wrinkles-that may let themselves known
That’s when We’ll make Our -escape-leap-love-
