Goes to bed<\/p>\n

Probably<\/p>\n

Before 12<\/p>\n

A.M.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today<\/p>\n

One minute ago<\/p>\n

At 11:03<\/p>\n

A.M.<\/p>\n

I wondered<\/p>\n

What does<\/p>\n

A.M.<\/p>\n

Stand for?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I crossed my room<\/p>\n

Swiftly stepping over my vacuum,<\/p>\n

Until I found myself<\/p>\n

Staring at myself<\/p>\n

In the mirror<\/p>\n

Talking to myself<\/p>\n

Saying,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt stands for<\/p>\n

After Mom\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And I laughed<\/p>\n

At myself<\/p>\n

With myself<\/p>\n

Looking in the eyes<\/p>\n

Of myself<\/p>\n

In the mirror.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But seriously,<\/p>\n

That would make sense.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moms go to bed early<\/p>\n

They are drained.<\/p>\n

So most likely<\/p>\n

Barely any moms<\/p>\n

Are up past<\/p>\n

12 After.Mom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only<\/p>\n

Strange<\/p>\n

Things happen<\/p>\n

In the hours of the After Mom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a relationship<\/p>\n

They say<\/p>\n

Nothing good ever happens<\/p>\n

After 10 P.M.<\/p>\n

Which bleeds into<\/p>\n

The After Mom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Assignments are always due<\/p>\n

Before the After Mom<\/p>\n

Before 12 After.Mom.<\/p>\n

Because if<\/p>\n

Your mom<\/p>\n

Knew about your procrastination<\/p>\n

Oh buddy<\/p>\n

Get ready.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Less light is seen<\/p>\n

Less energy on the streets<\/p>\n

Less rational thinking<\/p>\n

In the hours of the After Mom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The world shuts down<\/p>\n

In the hours of the After Mom.<\/p>\n

Who else has that sort of control<\/p>\n

On a world so resistant to good things<\/p>\n

In a world desiring to be so radically unbound<\/p>\n

And yet<\/p>\n

We fall victim again<\/p>\n

To the magic of \u201cMom\u201d<\/p>\n
