Does that make me a threat?<\/p>\n<p>You have blonde hair yet I have brown. Does that make me an alien?<\/p>\n<p>If the difference in eye color and hair color doesn\u2019t matter then someone tell me the differences with skin?<\/p>\n<p>You have pale skin, you love to read, play basketball, and listen to music.<\/p>\n<p>Tommy over there has darker skin.<\/p>\n<p>He loves to read, play basketball, and listen to music.<\/p>\n<p>So what is the difference between you two?<\/p>\n<p>Well, you both are very different.<\/p>\n<p>But different in your own unique ways.<\/p>\n<p>Skin color should not be a part of the equation.<\/p>\n<p>Why are we still fighting for human rights when you are human and I am human?<\/p>\n<p>Why are we still fighting for human rights when the real aliens are up there, and not down here?<\/p>\n<p>Did you know we all came from Africa?<\/p>\n<p>Well, then why is my skin lighter than yours?<\/p>\n<p>Because my ancestors chose to move somewhere with fewer UV rays, while yours chose to stay.<\/p>\n<p>So it is our ancestors&#8217; fault?<\/p>\n<p>It is no one\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n<p>There is no problem with your skin being dark like the shadows that are cast from the mysterious moonlight.<\/p>\n<p>And there is no problem with my skin being as light as the first snowflake of winter.<\/p>\n<p>We are all biologically the same.<\/p>\n<p>So why is it that\u2026 Most families on TV look like me?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andrea Barbosa Why is it that\u2026 Most families on TV are supposed to look like me?
