hark; now they\u2019re dark,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">No lark is there in the sky,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The baby bird cried and cried<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The tide it smashed the sky.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The rising tide flew far and wide, the birdies cried in fright,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies they roar and the gales they soar in a battle gore tonight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Momma Lark smiled in the dark,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Said, \u201cHark, my sweetest child,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Cyclone and storm in every form<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Hurts not a worm in the wild.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Hold me tight in storms tonight,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Till the break of light hug me,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">A fairytale till subsides the gale,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019ll tell you a tale, sweet pea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The rising tide flew far and wide, the winds they cried in fright,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies they roar and the gales they soar in a battle gore tonight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cOnce upon a time,\u201d she said in rhyme,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cA man in his prime \u2013 King Lear,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Betrayed by his lass, he said \u2018Alas!\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u2018This too shall pass,\u2019 said his peer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The saddened Lear in a maddened fear<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Without a peer behind,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Dashed out in the storm in a frenzied form<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">With a storm that cursed his mind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The storm was kind to Lear and his mind; it would be kind tonight,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies they roar and the gales they soar in a battle gore tonight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">When that form, broke down the norm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">They called the storm \u2018Maria,\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The tempest grew, Prospero knew<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">What would brew off his idea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The fiery Cloud laughed out aloud<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">And loud and loud he roared,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The West Wind died in the ocean wide<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Denied, yet now adored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Storms in lore battalions tore; he\u2019ll scare no more tonight,\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies they roar and the gales they soar in a battle gore tonight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The mother lark hugged in the dark<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The little lark at her breast,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">An innocent trust: no wind or gust<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Must dare to break their nest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The forest shivered and aspens quivered,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The thousand-rivered seas<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Burst and bloomed as horror loomed,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Brought mountains to their knees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Then from the East, the smiling East, on man and beast shone light,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies they pour and the winds they soar; the war was won tonight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The breezes brush the golden lush<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Of feathers that hushed the gale<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Momma smiled at her sleeping child,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Slept the wild, wild seas and vale.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The sultry Heat was there to greet<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Soft rains to which he\u2019d bow;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Soft breezes glided, the storm subsided<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">As a soothing hand on a fevered brow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The skies may roar and the gales may soar in a battle gore at night,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Remember my dear, my dear don\u2019t fear, like birds in flight, alight!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">****<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Somoshree Palit &nbsp;
