The first Christmas without you, me and Granny asked the same question<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What is a family but a tree?<\/p>\n

Rooted in the past<\/p>\n

yet ever blossoming<\/p>\n

Some leaves will fall in autumn<\/p>\n

Without which we will be cold<\/p>\n

under the snow<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But let us celebrate that tree<\/p>\n

Branches bending from<\/p>\n

Nostalgia and suffering<\/p>\n

The colors of those leaves<\/p>\n

Still paint my memory<\/p>\n

But Christmas is warmth<\/p>\n

In the midst of letting go<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The gift of all we\u2019ve had<\/p>\n

A gift for every mom and dad<\/p>\n

Every sister, every cousin<\/p>\n

Every brother, Wife, and Husband<\/p>\n

No one name will be undone<\/p>\n

We will decorate that tree<\/p>\n

with light and warmth<\/p>\n
