She dances in the rain,
\nThe laughter of the droplets music to her ears,
\nSinging a symphony of age old Muses.
\nShe spins around with joy in her heart.

She floats in the ocean,
\nThe gentle waves rocking her as mother’s arms,
\nThe tranquility, a Siren’s song.

Perhaps these are traits inborn
\nOr maybe some won through war
\nWith the world and herself
