When she holds close I can feel both of our hearts beat
When she sleeps my arms carry her dreams to shore
In every thought of every second of every day
I thought I’d loved her up
Yet ever so I love her more
If what once was
Was once without her
Then no part of me remains
The past is gone
I’ve got her hands to hold on to
I see the smile on her face
And I’ve yet to know how I have lived before living
this day
To go on a way without her is to veil the setting sun
To submerge the highest mountain
And make a masterpiece undone
Even when across the tabletop I paint the fears that
pressure me
All she sees is my eyes cast upon her lovingly
I’m not yet whole without her
She’s a wish unto me now
A comet’s grace and luster
ever so in her abounds
