These writings<\/p>\n

Grow and Expand<\/p>\n

They soak in my thoughts like sponges<\/p>\n

And bloom<\/p>\n

Taking up all the space in my head<\/p>\n

To the point where sometimes I have no idea what I\u2019m saying<\/p>\n

Or what I\u2019m seeing<\/p>\n

And all I know<\/p>\n

Is that somewhere inside me<\/p>\n

I am somewhere else<\/p>\n

I am afraid of this infinite<\/p>\n

It scares me like few things do<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know where I end and begin<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t find the boundary of my thoughts<\/p>\n

They slip into each other<\/p>\n

Flowing from streams to form rivers<\/p>\n

Snowballing into oceans<\/p>\n

And what starts as a page<\/p>\n

Becomes more than me<\/p>\n

More than my mind alone<\/p>\n

More than my heart could know<\/p>\n

These writings<\/p>\n

I wonder what was there<\/p>\n

What precursor first beheld their form?<\/p>\n

What forerunner was replaced by the ink that seems to run red no matter the pen<\/p>\n

What spirit on paper remains locked inside my head<\/p>\n

Will those bygones forever escape my treading feet that fall in stride to meet nostalgia<\/p>\n

Or will they change their pace in time to dance forwards and back across my linear consciousness within this stream on earth<\/p>\n

A wake away from birth before my answer is refunded<\/p>\n

A vow lays rescinded amongst cinders in the air<\/p>\n

The pen remains<\/p>\n

When all else has burned away<\/p>\n

When will I see them again?<\/p>\n

All I see now are words<\/p>\n

Alike memories, telling me<\/p>\n

Cannot be erased<\/p>\n

Cannot be replaced<\/p>\n
