the sun sets with the loss\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

of range of motion my arm\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

can make I fixate on the fore-\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

arm crutch I see a boy use\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

in a movie that I don\u2019t yet own\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

it seems so simple to use\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

when I have only one arm running\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and my leg dies with the other\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I cannot rise with the sun\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

rise but throw my limbs across\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

my bed to move because\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the drugs stopped working\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

stopped working they stopped\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

my doctor just stacks more\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

pills on the new ones stacked\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

on my desk last shorter\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and shorter and shorter\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and can\u2019t stop rising and falling\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

like the sun against the sun\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

on the hardwood floor\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

but when I drive to the old\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

hill that waits for me to climb\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait for the sun to rise\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

or fall or implode to climb up\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the top to work so I scuff my left\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

shoe and only my left shoe\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

my right thigh aches as it shoves\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

my whole self up the incline\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

without a rail while medication\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

melts in my gut restoring\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

chemical balance in my brain\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

or so I\u2019m told to slap my leg\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and arm back into compliance\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

days ago I took a cocktail of capsules\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

to resolve failing pathways\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

which caused sleep so long\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I thought I woke up early\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

because the sun was still down\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
