There is still time\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am certain of it, even\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

right now, during this very disaster\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

there are still rivers flowing\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

with mostly-fresh water, still\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

there are redwoods and\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

birds nesting and chirping in\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

still-blue skies, there is still time\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

there are still mountains with snow\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and raindrops which kiss the\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

barrenness and make it blush with green,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

again, it reminds me of rolling down hills\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

as bruised children, do you remember?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is still time, really, it is\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

still out there, right now, maybe even\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

covered with a still morning dew, there\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

is still life in the oceans and on the lands\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and our winter days may still be blessed with\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

snow and the air might still\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

nibble at our cheeks and there\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

is still time to count the degrees\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and the rains and tally up the storms-\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

be thankful that you can be nervous\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

be thankful, we have been allowed to stumble for\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

so long, we have been granted amnesty by our stars,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

mother will forgive us for the scars we have\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

carved into her, we can still go home, please\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

there is still, there is hope, even now\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

after the bombs and fires\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

there are still bombs and fires, yet we are still\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

here, still making them, still not believing them\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

we have grown so much and lived so\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

little, even still, when there are\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

two hundred and fifty years of life\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

breathing through the\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

eight billion of us every second, I swear,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
