Ah, wilderness,<\/span><\/p>\n

Where has the white gone,<\/span><\/p>\n

The hour harder than leaves as she gathers<\/span><\/p>\n

A shady truth just to sow lovers<\/span><\/p>\n

And the coarse limbs they crave,<\/span><\/p>\n

That, or water, wind, wombs heading<\/span><\/p>\n

For blind blue alleys as the wind climbs too high<\/span><\/p>\n

To a sky the goddess of the crops hustles,<\/span><\/p>\n

Her biting wrath mad at births, and daffs-<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Cause you live too far them,<\/span><\/p>\n

Fathers can\u2019t dream of you,<\/span><\/p>\n

Distance can\u2019t heal loss, or dissent,<\/span><\/p>\n

Nor can your eyes shatter twilight,<\/span><\/p>\n

Or sky, your war trench-<\/span><\/p>\n

Alright then, cut it out, look,<\/span><\/p>\n

The air is clean, almost pure,<\/span><\/p>\n

No limbs dirty you,water,<\/span><\/p>\n

Grass, don\u2019t look green-eyed of bushes,<\/span><\/p>\n

Just gather the seeds that cry for an early season light,<\/span><\/p>\n

And you, soul, go find your shades,<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop acting the shrinking guest of words,<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop mooning about,<\/span><\/p>\n

Like a waste land in those first days,<\/span><\/p>\n

No living grass –<\/span><\/p>\n

For heaven, and hell will bring dainties and wine<\/span><\/p>\n

To a date in my soul, by the restless blue of April,<\/span><\/p>\n

When life thrusts other flowers,<\/span><\/p>\n

When adverse to setting roots ablaze<\/span><\/p>\n

Prophets disappear among pencils, and books,<\/span><\/p>\n

Just a few marks in sand, and water,<\/span><\/p>\n

If at long last clouds force you to fight<\/span><\/p>\n

On equal terms against dread, or rejection,<\/span><\/p>\n
