Jack Scholtes<\/span><\/p>\n

The tendrils of rage are not broken easily<\/span><\/p>\n

Red hot, as they bind their roots, swallow flesh<\/span><\/p>\n

Thorns forcing bribes from blood drawn<\/span><\/p>\n

Searing is the rage that binds, that runs deep<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A sight worse than death proceeds its reek<\/span><\/p>\n

Bellowing calls force vermin from their cave<\/span><\/p>\n

Holes emerge from dirt, deliver teeth and claw<\/span><\/p>\n

Burrowing from soil to meat, ripe is the fruit that resists<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The marked fear remains plastered on walls<\/span><\/p>\n

Burned cloth, stricken with noise and dejection<\/span><\/p>\n

Hands buried in quicksand, escape remains below<\/span><\/p>\n

Relinquish thy hand, fall to thy fate<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The fire can\u2019t be stoked now, rage has spilled on its stones<\/span><\/p>\n

Clouds of red, a sickly scent to drive one mad<\/span><\/p>\n

Rain eating at thy skin, give way to the loch within<\/span><\/p>\n

Shivering, seething, feeling, give peace upon me<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Place your mind back in the cell, look within from out<\/span><\/p>\n

Twisted steel tethered your bones, fragmented your soul<\/span><\/p>\n

Rock macerates keys that lay upon your arms<\/span><\/p>\n

Eyes crying faceted tears, blinding is the glow<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Desire the sky, reach the ground, kaleidoscope your world<\/span><\/p>\n

Gone is the rage, away with the heat,<\/span><\/p>\n

Joy is secure, renew the burning hearth,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
