At tea by the river, I finally said \u201cAlice,<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh Alice, may I ask you if you wonder?<\/span><\/p>\n

About that place that you ventured in<\/span><\/p>\n

your mind from when you were younger.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you fall into a rabbit hole of memories<\/span><\/p>\n

of all the triumphs and glories<\/span><\/p>\n

or do you find those pleasantries are<\/span><\/p>\n

overshadowed by echoes of miseries?<\/span><\/p>\n

You were only an innocent young girl<\/span><\/p>\n

swept into an upside down, mad world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grown high to the sky with a whirl,<\/span><\/p>\n

then shrunk down low in the shadow of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do you think about how you were led astray,<\/span><\/p>\n

in a twisty and turny and mysterious maze?<\/span><\/p>\n

I feel bad, Alice, that your heart was played by<\/span><\/p>\n

a woman\u2019s madness caused by a crown set ablaze.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you find the courage to be so brave<\/span><\/p>\n

and stand up to the tyranny \u2018till you could escape?<\/span><\/p>\n

But I\u2019m so glad you\u2019re here, down by the lake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not there in Wonderland, but with me, awake.<\/span><\/p>\n

Though, do you wonder about that place?<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you think that past can ever be replaced?<\/span><\/p>\n

Sorry, if I\u2019ve asked too many things.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m just curious about your ends and beginnings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alice? Oh Alice. You\u2019ve fallen asleep once again.<\/span><\/p>\n

tell me who, where, why, and when you went?<\/span><\/p>\n
