Butter is a matter made of fat,<\/span>
\nthat’s a matter of fact<\/span>
\nSo let’s cut into that<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Cause I spread butter on my toast at most<\/span>
\nIn pre-proportioned teaspoons,<\/span>
\nthat’s when he moons<\/span>
\nEnamored by the glamour of witty banter with a girl out of his league<\/span><\/p>\n

But this girl is fatigued<\/span><\/p>\n

because she can never go around buttering herself up saying<\/span>
\n\u201cI\u2019m gorgeous\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sitting across from a man,<\/span>
\nwhose biggest fan is his reflection<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m given a lack of attention<\/span>
\nfrom his misguided self-affection<\/span><\/p>\n

Hot tension in suspension<\/span>
\nyou\u2019d think it\u2019s the smoking section<\/span><\/p>\n

Not to mention his dimensions\u2014<\/span>
\nhe must have hypertension<\/span><\/p>\n

The result, of spooning heaps of hydrogenated fat lipids, not restricted<\/span>
\nHow is this not scripted?<\/span><\/p>\n

Saying I don’t deserve a raise, or any praise<\/span><\/p>\n

The soft butter melted off of his lips,<\/span>
\nand dripped on to his hips,<\/span>
\nas his figure grew bigger,<\/span>
\nI knew I needed to get out of this dinner<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Cause how could I bond with a man who is always buttering himself up<\/span>
\nlubricating his arteries with qualities he didn’t possess,<\/span>
\nit leaves a girl in distress<\/span>
\nThis dress is a mess.<\/span>
\nI\u2019m not good enough to be caressed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because when one man can take up all the ego in a room it leaves you with<\/span>
\nnothing.<\/span><\/p>\n

No butter for my bread, or to ease the stress in my head<\/span><\/p>\n

It was all about him<\/span><\/p>\n

The things he did on a whim<\/span>
\nHow he went out with me \u201con a limb\u201d<\/span>
\nIt was a \u201cchance\u201d that he threw me a glance<\/span>
\nlike this was some type of advance<\/span><\/p>\n

But for a man as plain as white bread, butter is not going to help him<\/span><\/p>\n

Milking a one-sided conversation<\/span>
\nfrom a temptation of flirtation<\/span><\/p>\n

Giving me a presentation<\/span>
\non how to choke,<\/span>
\nshoving it down my throat<\/span>
\nChurning in my stomach,<\/span>
\nthis mass of yearning<\/span>
\nis curdling<\/span><\/p>\n

This date has expired after what has transpired<\/span><\/p>\n

This girl takes a stand.<\/span>
