An old, mad, blind, fucked up, and racist man –
Senators, who in the broad light of day
Ridicule and scorn educated masses –
Congressmen who neither see nor convey,
But cling to their freedoms and liberties
Till they’re stained with the impoverished blood of
A people enslaved in damasked factories –
An army blinded by patriotism
Makes genocide, death to democracy –
Gilded Amendments and Articles which
Continue consumer colonial
Ventures that have driven away our god.
Shelley, are there ghastly poetic relics to
Help shine a light on our dilapidated day?
