The greatest shame of Man
is that no woman exists
who does not know
what it is to be violated.
To be owned
possessed
stripped.
Have her heart drug out through her legs,
that incomprehensible chasm she feels
when a piece of her
has been scraped out and stolen,
and Woman realizes she has been
invisible to Man in her identity
A sorrow is felt simultaneously
for herself,
for that woman he has perceived and betrayed, for Her matriarchs,
and for the little girls of the world
who await the same fate.
For there are some atrocities
one does not need to directly experience
to truly
Know.
The hatred of the prejudiced,
the voices of the bravely outspoken,
They have showed you.
Placed you in their skin and
watched as their screams fell from your mouth.
