    i figured i’d probably end up like this

      They warned me, didn’t They? that if i didn’t change

        “my ways”

          i’d probably end up

            burning

              They say “god” created me in his image

                if that’s true, then “god” must

                  love men;

                    deny his own existence;

                      They’d hate that

                        They’d wish Their “god” would start

                          burning
