here's a poem i wrote:
titty chasm
titty chasm
titty titty chasm titty.
while it's not about AIDS per se, it is written as a means to raise AIDS awareness. i hope that eventually people will look at my poem and be made more aware that AIDS is real, and we should think about it more. a revision:
titty chasm
titty chasm
titty titty chasm drippy.
i remember the first time i heard about AIDS. it was 1994 and that band the Offspring was singing about how you got to keep 'em separated. of course this made me think of titties-large droopy ones. then someone on TV, perhaps Phil Collins, said something about AIDS. oh:
titty chasm
titty chasm
twoey cleavage chasm drippy.
and so i am reminded of large women. large women after climbing a flight of sta(i)rs on a too-hot november day. large women with low-cut shirts. have you forgotten AIDS?
titty chasm
droopy chasm
twoey cleavage chasm titty.
the large women thought it was going to be colder today, which in novembers past meant a fashion opportunity. and so they are over-dressed in their scarves, hats, coats and low-cut shirts. and so they huff out from under their glistening upper lips. they huff and spit and wheeze, there were so many stairs, many more stars. a drop of sweaty spit lands on the loop of red ribbon resting on their lapels.
titty chasm
droopy drippy
titty sweaty chasm loopy.
our large women must fan their slick chests with a manila folder, so the moisture can dissipate, and the red ribbon moves with each mini-gust like a dog being petted too hard. they're aware.
titty titty
titty titty
titty titty titty titty.
we associate the stars with the cool-cold of the night, but they're really hot really far away. really really far. the massive gap between us and them is only filled by what we're told by experts is true. we raise awareness of their heat by waddling up stairs during the day, under our own star, whose mere 93 million mile distance is sometimes too much to bear. global warming always hurts our fat women first.
keep my song in your heart, and think about AIDS at night, when you're in bed, and hopeful that the days to come will bring us closer to other stars' heat, without making us sweat. yes, be hopeful.
