Laden is     this muddy lab  

slide, 
like the bread for 
     Gritty clusters and 
stringy strep     stretching and 
forming a moat     like egg yolks' 
whites 
 
An      unavoidable  
collaboration smacks down, 
     indifferently long       and  

fat-bodied,    
 
Stagnantly settled  
in fog rising from 
     it's charring scales and  
the mirage    of a mirror  

maimed by sand-cut scars     and permanent 
pain.
