Veil

Blair Wittig

I run, viewing the world half blind,

through streetlights

waves amass the colors

drunk on dreams

from distant lands

of diamonds, velour and

silicon empires

I sit and stare at the

fluorescent lighting

in cork panels

composing a pattern of infinity, transcendence

and attaining lethargy,

amassing my barriers
