Artist Statement: I am currently a junior at ISU, hailing from the pleasant cornfields of Mendota, Illinois. When not writing or working towards my bachelor’s in English Studies, I enjoy listening to a wide array of music (from Hank Williams Sr. to Pink Floyd to Rammstein), spending time with close friends and family, and—simply—living the college dream. I would like to dedicate my work in memory of my father, always a wonderful supporter of my writing, who passed away last spring after a brave battle with cancer. My sincere thanks to Euphemism for this opportunity to share!
