Willow
I am a weeping willow,
But how can I be sad?
When I can see you, Cherry Blossom.
Your delicate leaves floating down
Like crystal snowflakes, all of you
unique.
I watch through hanging wet vine branches
as you slowly undress
yourself as winter comes.
They say we can’t be together,
Cherry Blossom,
But my roots will keep growing
Until they find your gentle hands
As we slowly tangle together
Swaying together in the wind
As if we are dancing
