Artist Statement:
I wrote this to help me get through something difficult. Writing it all out helped me so much to get out of a slump and for that, I am very grateful. This piece is not about a breakup, rather a breaking point of feelings that didn’t go both ways. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say it’s not easy to like someone who doesn’t like you back. I hope this makes you as happy as it makes me and you can read this if you’re ever feeling bad for yourself. Just remember—we’re all beautiful.
