The president needs
to step off the podium
before he is heckled
and thrown at with tomatoes
or boot-licked shoes.
The congressman needs
to avoid lying about
cuts to welfare
when the only cuts
should be to warfare.
The senator needs
to stop posting
private pictures
of his privates
for the sake
of public privacy.
The mayor needs
to quit trying to
ban sugary drinks
and claiming calorie
intake and bloated bellies
are really the worst
thing that inner-city
youths have going
for them.
The governor needs
to keep his call-girls
off the books and
off the public’s dime
in case prosecutors
ask him to
provide receipts
and transactions fees.
