Artist Statement:

Rob Willett is a Senior in the English Studies program. He has written more than two hundred poems and a collection of short writings over the last decade. As a peer mentor, he has served students at Heartland Community College, and led the team that hosted the TEDxHeartlandCommunityCollege event. His piece, “The Winter Blues” was a Haiku written for Dr. Harris’ English 247 poetry course, capturing the lamentation of his house over its broken gutter. The photograph and postcard format was a result of Dr. Slothower’s Eng 254 publishing course as an experiment with Adobe Photoshop.
